Note from our Pastors

Welcome to Grace Baptist Church! Our primary worship service is held in our chapel in Korean and English on Sundays and lasts approximately 60 minutes. Visitors are welcome to attend. Our English Ministry also welcomes visitors accustomed to speaking English as their primary language.

Our church is a fundamental, independent, Bible-believing Baptist church. More than formalities and traditions, our church prioritizes biblical teaching and living. Our church is not only focused on worshiping God but is also committed to producing Godly couples and families.

To do this, the entire church people, as born-again Christians by the blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, need to be trained on how to have the time of devotion personally. Second, we will disciple our church family to have a heart for world missions. Third, we will train our next generation to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ.

은혜침례교회에 오신 것을 진심으로 환영합지다. 우리 예배는 주일마다 한국어와 영어 동시 통역으로 진행됩니다. 또한 English Ministry를 통해서 영어를 사용하는 분들이 예배할 수 있는 부서가 있습니다. 이곳에 오신 한분 한분이 최고의 예배를 드리도록 섬기고 있습니다.

우리교회는 어떤 전통이나 형식이 아닌 성경을 신앙의 기본으로 삼고 가르칩니다. 뿐만 아니라 성경의 가르침을 생활속에서 실천할 수 있도록 기도하며 돕습니다. 하나님께 먼저 예배드릴뿐만 아니라 우리의 가정과 생활이 변화될 수 있도록 기도합니다.

Meet our Pastors

Rev. Taejoon Ha, 하태준

Head Pastor, 담임목사

We are delighted that Rev. Ha joined our ministry in 2017. Rev. Ha is a 2006 graduate of Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master's in Divinity. He has a great passion for guiding the congregation for a deeper faith and connecting them with over ten years of experience leading congregations in Busan, South Korea, through the love of Christ.

Rev. John Jeongho Choi, 최정호

Founding Pastor, 창립목사

Rev. Choi is serving as an Elder Pastor and Founding Pastor of the Grace Baptist Church, founded in 1985. After graduating from Temple Baptist Seminary in Tennessee with a Master's in Divinity, Rev. Choi relocated to Chicago area where he officially founded Grace Baptist Church in 1985. The church first met in Downers Grove and had relocated and expanded to the current location in 1990. Rev. Choi has been devoted to Grace Baptist Church since the establishment of the church, with his love of Christ and passion for the congregation.

Seungri Oh, 오승리

English Ministry, EM 전도사

Victory Oh joined Grace Baptist church in 2022. Oh studied and served at Words Of Life Bible Institute for several years and finished his undergrad at Moody Bible Institute. He has served many youth camps and conferences as a staff to share the gospel with the next generation. He has a great heart for the next generation of youth.
